Maple Leaf Wrestling used to be the domain of The Shiek, that changed in the late 70's. I missed out on the early WWF matches as I was earning my own money.
I missed this one as well. When I was a weee lad, I thought that Domenic De Nucci and Tony Parisi were from the neighbourhood. De Nucci is from Pittsburgh and Paris is from Niagara Falls.
Like Angelo Mosca, Ernie "The Cat" Ladd played football before becoming a wrestler. He played six seasons for the San Diego Chargers.
The problem with currently wrestling is it's most popular wrestler is undersized and has taken too many concussions. Ronda Rousey may want to return but the fans will not forget that she fucked Alexa Bliss up. She hardly wrestles anymore.
