It's cool to see some other dudes around here that grew up with wrestling in the 80s & 90's. I stopped watching in the early 2000s after Vince took over WCW and buried their legacy and made the biz a complete monopoly.

And one of the saddest things was watching aging stars like Greg Valentine and Barry Windham being jobbed out in squash matches because they couldn't find work elsewhere. Fuck the McMahons.

If you know any young women, they may help you to forget (temporarily). I have a couple of numbers for you if you need.

Hey man, is her hair is “crimped” or “feathered” with bangs? (bad 80s humor).

I must of misunderstood...you gotta love Lucious Johnny Valiant.

Poor bastard. One of the few WWF superstars to make it as old as 71 years old, and dies by way of getting struck by a motor vehicle. Like fuck.

Looking on the wiki I was shocked to find that the same person who played the Brooklyn Brawler who is the best also played Doink the clown who is cancer.
I could have died a happy man never knowing that.

There were a few who were Doink
I believe Matt Bourne was the original Doink

I am enjoying the biographies of wrestlers on A&E on Sunday nights.
I believe this Sunday is Randy Savage.

WCW was good in the mid 90s. Monday night nitro rejuvenated my interest in the WWF from the 80s. The hiring of most of the WWF superstars probably had something to do with it lol.

I agree with your take with WCW, the Monday Night Wars and the NWO angle were fun...I think one of the problems they had was too many aging WWF performers, they didn't develop enough new faces.

Anyone remember Mike Awesome? He had a reputation for injuring other wrestlers, in one bout he injured Booker T before he became The Five Time...Five Time WWE Champion!

After injuring Booker T, Mike Awesome had a very long night.

Scott Steiner has been accused of roid raging, but he never actually injured other wrestlers. And if you were lucky enough to watch The Steiners vs Harlem Heat, you got your money's worth. Mutual respect between families.

I always thought Barry Horowitz was the best super jobber.
Barry was quite the entertainer..............he always patted himself on the back after a good move.........in fact for awhile he wore an outfit with hands printed on the back....lol
