Jim Jones' cult felt exactly the same as you describe above.

Trump = optimism, hope, love, epiphany, rainbows, candy man, come her little girl, sunshine and flowers.

You must've been dribbling and drooling Trump juice from your orifices when you pecked out the above on your keyboard.

"Come here my children, drink this and you will we go to a better place." - infamous last words

Your frame of reference is so misplaced because you've listened to too much Orange Man Bad propaganda. It's TDS all over again. Please turn off the TV for awhile.

You could just as easily make the same ludicrous comparisons to Obama. But it doesn't make any sense to do so.

We're talking about presidential candidates and presidents in democratic elections, not religious cult leaders that mass murder their followers.

We're talking about fundamental leadership and communication skills. And vision for the future.

Try to maintain perspective on the subject.

The last thing centrists want is a significant amount of woke messaging when they are struggling economically. And I say this as a person who is certainly on the left on the woke scale. The dem's needed to focus there messaging more on the economy, although it was going to be hard with the economy's current status.

This was going to always be a hard election to win for the Dem's. Inflation was going to happen under any party in 2021-2023, and when you are the party where inflation happened, even if its not your fault, its very hard to win any G7 election no matter the quality of the candidate. Many People are going to want to change for the sake of change -- I'm not sure Trump is really offering much in terms of policy. I'm not sure Kamala was that strong.

A Democratic Primary probably would have helped for policy sharing / sharpening up one's messaging whomever was selected.

So besides the military industrial complex toys, what does the U.S. make?
No, do your own research....what do uou think majority of people in the US do? You don't reward companies outsourcing outside...make it cheaper for them to make it in the US.

Nothing went wrong. Trump has always been popular and no more mystery mail-in votes like the previous election.

This is Trumps 3rd straight victory really. 3-peat if you will.
