Charlie Hough - hit his stride with Texas later in his career and lasted forever with the knuckler.
Did he always have a knuckleball, or was it just developed later in his carrer.
Cesar Cedeno - would remember looking at my baseball cards 83-84 ish when I was young and being amazed how good he once was (before my time) - he became pretty average by the 80's.
Looking at what he had accomplished by the age of 23, he looked like a really good chance to be a Hall of Famer that sort of fizzled. Not that 2,000 career hits is a bad career, but it was disappointing based on how he started.
Kelly Gruber I think. That huge outlier season by a 3B caught my eye.

What's his name?
Correct!
Cedeno's age 30 season was the strike-shortened 1981 campaign, so the 82 games played that year is not statistically significant. The sharp decline in Stolen Bases after his age 29 season, however, suggests that his career was negatively impacted by some lingering leg issues. It ;ooks like he had a major injury in his age 27 season, (50 games played).
He remains the only player in Major League history to have three consecutive 20/ 50 seasons for HRs and SBs.
