Gorman Thomas, HR and Strikeout Machine (at the time). Although now days those Strikeout totals are not as absurd. At the time they were.
Brad Park - all those second place Norris trophies gave it away to me.
These are fun. Great idea. I'll hold of answering anymore until tomorrow, to give other people a chance, as I do know a few others.
Don Baylor - remember those stats from his 1979 (maybe 1978) MVP season.
And of course all the HBP/
Gary Gaetti (I can't remember who won the World Series 5 years ago or who hit 50 HR's in the last 20 years, but I can remember minutia from the 80's, when i was a kid and stats were the only think on my mind - Life was so Simple)

We have top calibre trivia buffs on this board. I thought this category would be a good mental challenge, because it involves more than just remembering a fact. Good on you to have noticed Don Baylor's HBP numbers and Brad Park's 2nd places in the Norris Trophy voting. I remove details which would make the answer too easy. There really are almost unlimited potential questions in this category, but I won't be posting any guys with 16 career at bats, unless there is something significant about them, unrelated to their pro sports stats.
Chet Lemon, I believe. Seem to remember those 1984 stats fairly distinctly - the Detroit Tigers had an amazing team.
A bit of a guess here, as it was about a decade before my time, but I believe that could be Lee May. (remember a legends card of him from my 1983 OPee Chee set)
This is an educated guess.
I'm going with Ian Turnbull. Remember reading great things that he did with the Leafs before I really got into hockey in the early to mid 80's. And by that point he had disappeared which seems to be what this stats profile suggests.
