I'm not quite an old fart just yet, just turned 50. The answer is of course Bill Barber which I see someone else already answered. I like your questions they really make you think.K Douglas, because I always enjoy reading your posts I'm going to give you a hint that old farts like you and me will understand. I consider the player in question to be the Godfather of diving in the NHL(not international hockey).
That has to be Herschel WalkerWho scored fifteen touchdown in the first three games of the 1981 NCAA season, and was the first MVP of the USFL?
The only guy I can think of here is Steve CarltonThis MLB pitcher had 4 consecutive 20 win seasons, followed immediately by a 20 loss season. Who is he?
(I have a bad feeling I asked this already)

A likely candidate, but no.The only guy I can think of here is Steve Carlton

Appreciate that. I just followed professional sports from quite a young age. When I was about 8 or 9 I used to copy by hand NHL team player stats out of the newspaper (2 tiimes per season). Still have the books to this date.50??? Wow!!! Judging by your sports knowledge I thought you were into your 60's or beyond.
The Naked Gun. O.J. Simpson and Reggie Jackson. Hilarious movie! One MLB MVP teamed up with one NFL MVP to co-star in a Hollywood movie. Name the two athletes involved, and for fun name the movie.
(There may be more than one answer to this, I only know one).
