All this reminded me of something from way back when I was kind of aware but ignoring it all, because that's what they seem to do there. However reading about it sort of rings a bell......as to today. Deja vu if you like. Strategy is unchanged though so it must be working.

The Sabra and Shatila massacre was the 16–18 September 1982 killing of between 1,300 and 3,500 civilians—mostly Palestinians and Lebanese Shias—in the city of Beirut during the Lebanese Civil War. It was perpetrated by the Lebanese Forces, one of the main Christian militias in Lebanon, and supported by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) that had surrounded Beirut's Sabra neighbourhood and the adjacent Shatila refugee camp.[2]

In June 1982, Israel invaded Lebanon with the intention of rooting out the PLO. By 30 August 1982, under the supervision of the Multinational Force, the PLO withdrew from Lebanon following weeks of battles in West Beirut and shortly before the massacre took place. Various forces—Israeli, Lebanese Forces and possibly also the South Lebanon Army (SLA)—were in the vicinity of Sabra and Shatila at the time of the slaughter, taking advantage of the fact that the Multinational Force had removed barracks and mines that had encircled Beirut's predominantly Muslim neighborhoods and kept the Israelis at bay during the siege of Beirut.[3] The Israeli advance over West Beirut in the wake of the PLO withdrawal, which enabled the Lebanese Forces raid, was in violation of the ceasefire agreement between the various forces.[4]

‘They built a plan how to save Netanyahu’
Separately, Channel 12 quoted a source close to Netanyahu’s office as saying that already on October 8, a day after the attack, the premier “demanded that his advisers build a plan of action on how to get him out of [responsibility for] the incident. From there, everything started to unfold.”

“The police investigations that have been made public are just the tip of the iceberg,” the source claimed. “The public does not understand what happened in the Prime Minister’s Office after October 7. While parents still didn’t know what had happened to their children, while entire families were being taken hostage, they built a plan for how to save Netanyahu.”

It’s quite funny….he looked like he was about to cry when they ran out of patience with his windbag routine and arrested him.

That's not what he said.
This is what he said.
I read the article...Obviously it hasn't been reached because Hezbollah and Israel are still firing rockets at each other...Hezbollah relies solely on Iran so they don't call the shots on whether a "ceasefire" will occur... If it's up to Israel and Iran, these will keep going until Lebanon grows balls and kick Hezbollah out. If US intervenes, then Iran will most likely take the ceasefire. or they will get biblical level ass kicking when Trump takes office...like the article said... It's up to the parties to take the ceasefire or pro long it...

I think you already did...look...make no mistake, who are the victims in these wars? the civilians = palestinians, israelis and lebanese... you just need to identify who are the perpetrators first... I would say Hamas & Hezbollah...their actions put all civilian lives at risk...
