So the 76 year illegal occupation, the 17 year blockade and the 233 settler terrorist attacks in 2023 all don't count and history only started on Oct 7?
Israel attacked Iran twice, first time blowing up an Iranian embassy in Syria. Iran responded with announced and slow rockets designed not to do any damage.
Then Israel assassinated the Hamas negotiator in Iran, the second attack on Iran. Iran again responds with an announced rocket attack, this time targeting military sites and giving some damage, though Israel has blacked out those reports.
The question now is whether Israel starts an all out war knowing that Iran has rockets they can't stop, that depends on whether they can goad the US into doing the war for them again.
AIPAC mobilises against Iran after missile attack
The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) has sent text messages to supporters calling on them to contact their elected representatives and demand support for Israel against Iran.
“Congress must speak out to unequivocally condemn this attack and reaffirm America’s strong support for our ally,” the pro-Israel lobby group said.
“Urge your elected leaders to (1) reaffirm Israel’s right to defend itself, (2) ensure America will continue to stand with Israel, and (3) call for severe consequences for this blatant aggression by Iran.”
