Answer: He didn't like the script which showed Quincy as being inept, so he refused to appear, show was rewritten .

ANSWER: In one episode Hawkeye and B.J. were playing a guessing game. The topic was "the greatest actor you've ever seen". So. B.J. gives Hawkeye a clue, which was the actor's initials, G.R. The initials stood for Gerald Rasmussen, who turned out to be B.J.'s high school drama teacher. Needless to say Hawkeye was less than impressed.
