Europe wants Russia like Egypt wants gaza.
Nobody wants to rule over disgusting indigenous people who are impossible to govern in a civilized way

Yeah, I never got this bs about Russia fearing modern Europe wanting to take over Russia. But I can see how a guy like Putin and nottyboi can delude themselves into thinking Russia is some nation to be respected and desired.

Well any chance of Russia trusting the West is over. At best non-enmity.

Trust?

Russia is fundamentally untrustworthy.

And I'd say the US is also untrustworthy. But for a different reason. Personal political ambitions pursued through politics. Democracy politics.

Fucking USA promised to stand by and support Ukraine 'for as long as it takes', whatever it takes etc. And so Ukraine relied on that promise and are now getting slaughtered because a dozen mealy mouthed Trump cocksuckers are fucking around for retarded personal self-interests and have cut off sending used and obsolete defense supplies and ammo to Ukraine. So a dozen Mutts like Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Traitor Greene and fellow MAGAT Trumptards have broken the promise of the United States. The word of the USA is becoming less and less worth anything.

Except Russia is not trustworthy. Full stop. You'd be an idiot to enter into any agreement or treaty with them.
Nobody is trustworthy when it comes to international relations. You’d be an idiot to think otherwise. The only thing you can rely on a nation to do is to act in their own self interest and self preservation; which is what Putin is doing.
Russia has tremendous reserves of oil and minerals; control of those resources is what motivates the West.

The way I put it is slightly different.

With Saddam Hussein the prospect of having a regime hostile to the west and
Israel sitting over one of world's biggest oil reserve that could be weaponized in
the not-too-distant future was unacceptable to the U.S.

In the same vein Putin's Russia is a bigger threat to the west than
Saddam's Iraq was to the U.S. It is not as much about gaining
control of Russia's oil and mineral resources as effecting a change
of its regime to a western-friendly one.

Pretty much. A friendly regime amounts to de facto control of the resources.

This is likely my last post; one oF the mods took exception to my tone. I told him where he could put his exception (essentially to go peg himself). Cheers!

I don't agree, there was every opportunity to do this with Yeltsin, yet the west refused. Putin wanted to join NATO.. NOPE!! Russia is just to big and powerful. The US cannot deal with nations that are peers. Even the EU was getting too close for comfort so they had to take it down. The goal was to effect regime change to a weak regime and hive off the various Russian repulics one by one.

So tell us all about the US attempts to engineer "regime change" in Russia, Komrad Oilsky?

I need a giggle.

Considering NATO is a defensive alliance and Russia has the bomb. There hasn't been the slightest interest. No territorial claims except Finland from 1940... but oh yeah they had 0 interest in joining NATO till Russia decided to fuck around in Ukraine and also there seems to be no interest in taking Karelia back considering the locals have been displaced by Russians ages ago and I doubt Finland wants to deal with the same 5th column bullshittery that the Potato Union does.

I can see Poutine making the claim, I mean claims are cheap, but for anyone with the slightest clue to take it seriously is special needs.

I always thought it was a bit of a risky move for Ukraine to give up it's nukes for guarantees. I mean they had them, should have kept them. I am not saying I predicted that Russia was going to go full retard or anything, but you never know, and double plus so bad in the day. I figured that risk might have ended but I guess not.

The time to support Ukraine was before Russia invaded when the rumours were going about. Send in some peacekeepers, have Russia go ballistic but tell them to eat a fat dick, it's a good will mission and we also have literal ballistics. Worked well for St Georges Island.

At present NATO has no plan of sending troops into Moscow. It
is therefore impossible to pull off the democratization of Iraq as
the U.S. did with Putin's regime. The west can only hope to accomplish
the feat by either

a) destabilization of Moscow through support of the war of attrition
fought between Russia and its western-friendly neighbor it is closely
tied to culturally

or

b) wishful thinking

to Europe as well.

If Israel had pursued peace and not murdered the one PM that was serious about peace...
Is this some conspiracy theory that the Israeli government assassinated the leader of their government?

But I can help translate your issue; you are upset that no one is backing your Putin love so you want to make the discussion about Israel.

Overt racism?

Nothing wrong with the Palestinian or Russian people, just the leadership they've been conditioned to unquestioningly support.
