You have to answer original question posts for your replies to be acknowledged. If you weren't playing as an amateur, you'd get one and a half lines of Robert De Niro for doing this - again.
Finding the original question post is part of the game, especially after a "Regis" answer that's not right enough for a Correct and not wrong enough for a Nope. Other players can often grab a quick Correct if they see him first and know what wasn't right about the other player's answer.
