I tend to think you like to embellish things to make your point. I have not heard anything here in the U.S. to suggest boys' behavior has become more uncivil during Trump's tenure.

Take a look at 1998 when California and Texas economies were the same size until around 2012. Look at their growth in GDP as compared to other States including a very Republican State of Texas where several freedoms are curtailed. The Right Wing media will just try to slam California as they hate how the economy as boomed in this century. That is why many Canadians go to work on contracts in that State as they always need well qualified individuals.
The total number of ballots cast is 65%. Actually not all the 65% of the votes have been counted as yet. The percentage is lower this time as compared to the record high of 67% in 2020!!

What is "delusional" about the timing. NATO already insisted to Ukraine that they had no intention of admitting Ukraine. The ethnic Russians wanted their language to be used as the Primary language in their region over The Ukraine language. That would have discriminated against the minority Ukrainians who do not speak the language. We know that it was no coincidence that immediately after the Winter Olympics is when Putin came up with his "History Class" about Ukraine being a part of Russia and then lied to the world that he had no intention of invading Ukraine in spite of the Intel Agencies correctly warning that the drills on the border were about the intended invasion. Then Putin called it a Special Mission or words to that effect when it was a full blast invasion that was for just a few days. Lies, and more lies and Trump called him a genius. Two years later and this war goes on with either side not finding a resolution!!

We have been through this before. This is nothing more than another one of your narratives where you squeeze facts into your argument and ignore the facts that don't.
- California has had Republican Governors over the last thirty years. The tech sector was firmly established many decades ago before that. This is like giving Republican Arnold Schwarzenegger credit for the smartphone since it was developed and introduced during his tenure. Thank you Arnold!
- This is a back-handed slap at Canada because Canadian growth has stagnated the last ten-fifteen years. Canada would place in the bottom five in terms of economic output if it was one of our States. Please don't get confused by Canadian dollars. Psss.... they're not worth as much so translate them into U.S. dollars when you go through your mental gymnastics.
- As a style point, show your source for the chart. It kind of helps to follow where the data originated.
- Lastly, California and Texas did not have the same size economy in 2012 or anytime over the last thirty years. I think I understand your point, but since I don't agree with its premise it's up to you to express yourself more clearly. So again, it also helps to know the source.
