Nice try but teump was already slowing down illegal immigration and covid happened..then Biden kamala happened...and it got 10x overdrive.
No.

It's got nothing to do with Biden or Trump.

The asylum claim laws were passed in the 1950's and are essentially unchanged. Biden attempted to cap them as a pre election move, but Trump blocked him. Every administration has had claimants from Latin America.

The #'s vary up and down. This is driven by home country conditions in Latin America. The early 2000's featured a huge spike in claims from Mexico, which then subsided. The current massive numbers are because of crime in Central America.

It's got nothing to do with who the president is. It's not as though Biden jerked off one day and said "I'm going to let in millions of Hondurans" because I feel generous. These claims are legally mandated by the Refugee Claims LEGISLATION FROM THE 1950's.

Trump can either cap the #'s or revoke the legislation entirely. That would stop asylum claims, or reduce them. I don't think he's serious about doing that because the GOP likes "the Border is broken" as a scare tactic political issue. If they "fix it" by revoking the legislation, then the issue dies. And simply becomes a question of how much funding the administration gives to Immigration police to hunt down and deport illegals who don't make asylum claims.

It's also a two-edged sword. Hypothetical: - Manuel and Juanita are legal immigrants in El Paso. They might resent illegals flooding in. At the same time, their daughter Viviana wants to marry a long-term illegal guy Jose who's a hard worker and a good guy and who came to the US with his family when he was 3 years old. So they don't want Jose deported and they want him to get US status.

So the political aspect is complicated and could both help and hurt polling.

Interesting outlier 2020 was - gee I wonder why. They tried again this time but they were watched like a hawk and the movement was bigger this time.
The Dems pulled more popular vote than the GOP except for this year and 2004, the year Dubya was a war hero because he conquered Iraq. 2020 was a totally normal voting year statistically.

Even 2024, Trump will end up with only a couple % more votes than Kamala.

Yes. And during every president before him back to the 1950's. The difference is that the right wing media simply doesn't report on it when a rightie administration is in power, except as an occasional scare story.

Go read and stop posting horseshit.

Record numbers of illegals poured in during Biden/Harris.

The media of any stripe is irrelevant to this fact.

why are you always wrong ?

2020 was not a totally normal voting year statistically.
it stands out as a clear trend breaking anomaly
2020 was at height of the pandemic, hardly an ideal environment for an extra 21.5 million voters to go to the polls
a backlash against Trump ? could be
ballot box stuffing ? given the behaviour of the loonie left , it would not shock me
we shall likely never know for sure

one thing that we do know is 2020 was not a totally normal voting year statistically.

it stands out like an erection in a women's sport competition

"we go with what we have"
what you have is a guess

people who do illegal activities generally do not rush to declare themselves as such
a child could determine human behaviour dictates your guess is understated

what you have is a guess

but you reject a different guess ... on a whim

the real goofy part is how you applied a very definitive confidence to what is a guess

your conclusions are invalid

illegal immigration is a problem, it has become worse and needs to be addressed
this is vey definitive and accurate
I provided numbers and sources.
While you are hallucinating.

Anyone who believes record numbers of people turned out to for vote someone as unpopular and uncharismatic as Biden are the same ones that didn't see any merit in the coronavirus coming from a lab in Wuhan across from where the first corona case was discovered, and where lab tests using the coronavirus were being conducted daily.

They're the same people that nodded their heads in agreement that Biden was as "sharp as a tack" when the media said it for years even when Biden couldn't find his way off a stage, and then believed that Biden was suffering from severe dementia after a single presidential debate because the media decided it was time to do a 180 on him to bring in Kamala to the throne.

Fortunately more people still have common sense than those that don't but the number of those without it is terrifyingly high.

I’m genuinely curious: on the scale of zero to ten how much are you concerned that Trump is a convicted fraudster?

I provided numbers and sources.
While you are hallucinating.

you provided guesses which do not reconcile with very the significant migration events we all know have occurred

you provided a comical graph indicating an illegal immigrant population which is lower than in 2010 - again this does not reconcile with very the significant migration events we all know have occurred

that blithering idiot AOC signalled the world its OK to enter the US illegally.
yet your claiming an illegal immigrant population which is lower than in 2010 ????

you also applied statements of confidence that are absolute absurd given " we go with what we have" - you know the numbers are not accurate

your quick copy and paste fell apart because you did not apply any skepticism to what you thought was supportive of your ideals

if asked if they are an illegal immigrant by a US govt official the default answer for illegals is No! for obvious reasons.
no way they have an accurate count

how in the world can you honestly believe the illegal immigrant population is lower than in 2010 ?

I am not hallucinating
you however are making false statements that do not pass the smell test of historical events or common sense
ideologically driven false statements / misinformation and that is despicable
