All men in Russian from age 18-30 are restricted from leaving the country in case they are conscripted to fight in the war. I personally know about a group of men close to 50 and above that have left Russia because they may be convinced to volunteer. So it is not only young men that are conscripted into the war.

Canada, USA and Europe has sent over all their old crap to be disposed of in Ukraine. Russia has expended half their military inventory. The western countries have re-armed with the newest and the best. China has refused to help Russia in tis war.
Too many people have already died in this needless war. Trump pulling $ may be the impetus for serious peace talks, as both sides see a stalemate that could last another decade.
Besides, if Putin wanted to attack Nato, he would have done it before losing 500,000 soldiers and half his useable military assets. Ukraine will have to give up the eastern provinces, now rendered an empty wasteland and Europe’s biggest cemetery. It is a compromise that will bring peace to the region.
