Saw the Replacements in 87 in their "failed" UK tour when they were playing pubs around London. I kid you not! One of the few coups in my rock fan wasted youth. There were a few hundred people - mainly US college kids "Doing Europe" in their summer vacation - in the back room of this big pub. Tommy was wearing lime green shoes with $-signs painted on them!

Nazareth's star started to wane when Van Halen showed up. They had the same formula, Nazareth's two biggest hits were covers, but VH had a broader sound. This is why I initially couldn't get into VH.

This song never gets old.
