Party Favours?

Dumb question: Are ads that offer ‘party favours’ just drug dealers trying to hide as escorts, or are do you get a dose of happy powder and the do the session, or do you do the session and take some vitamins home?
I’m not keen to try one of these ads because they seem to be exactly what the cops would be looking to bust.

They're escorts but they have it available to use or buy if you want. There's no obligation on your end. I didn't think of the cop angle, but they probably can't bother with small timers like that, the same way that can't bother with us johns most of the time.

There was a thread recently about a couple of SP’s who were giving their clients a white powder that knocked them out and then rob them and split. Apparently one guy died after a bad reaction to whatever this powder was.

Many people posting in the thread were quite judgmental towards the guy for being “stupid” enough to snort a substance provided by an unknown sp…but it looks like it happens all the time given how common these Party Favours ads are posted on LL?

You’re not wrong to be cautious. Ads that mention party favors can sometimes imply that substances are involved, but it varies. Sometimes it’s a code word for recreational enhancements, but it’s also a red flag since authorities do monitor for this kind of activity. If it’s something you’re unsure about, it's probably best to steer clear of those ads. If you're just looking for a straightforward experience, stick with providers who clearly list their services without that kind of language.

As a general rule I would highly recommend that you never do any chemical based drugs. In my younger days I was involved in the party/rave scene and the amount of people I know who have died of fentanyl poisoning is staggering. It's simply not worth the risk anymore, regardless of how fun said drug is. Stick with weed and liquor, less to worry about

That’s solid advice. It’s definitely better to play it safe these days, especially with the risks that come with so many substances being laced. The reality is that even things people once thought of as safe party drugs can now carry serious dangers. Sticking to weed or a drink sounds like a much better plan still plenty of fun, without the same level of risk.

I think it's the proverbial, "doing a line off a Hooker's ass" fantasy that exists in pop culture. At this point party drugs are scary enough-- Heck, taking it away from sex workers, I know gay men who liked to party, but straight up won't touch party drugs anymore, and won't hang out with guys that are doing party drugs-- Who the hell needs an OD?

Taking it back to sex workers. Leolist is skeevy enough. Yes, there's that potential of getting dosed and robbed, but how comfortable are you having a dealer in close proximity? What are the odds of that sex worker being a desperate addict? (Yes, there are addicts in every walk of life, and in all segments of the sex industry. It's the desperate part that is risky for clients on multiple levels.) Or meeting someone strung out? Or whacked out of their skull? Likely surrounded by other people in similar condition. That also doesn't bode well for a quality environment, or a person who is taking care of themselves.

My advice would be to stay away from people advertising party favours, even if you're already in that lifestyle. If this is something you must do, only do it with party favours you procured yourself (from your own dealer), and I'd suggest doing it with someone who is open to 'party', but who isn't also dealing.

None of this is for me, and I like my boring life just fine. You do you, but try to be reasonably safe.

I have no use for "party drugs" of any kind. That includes weed.
Don't use it, don't want to be around those that use it. I see it a sign of weakness.

That's a solid perspective, and I totally agree with the need for caution. In a space where risk is higher, both for clients and providers, it’s all about knowing your boundaries and prioritizing safety. There's definitely a lot to be said about keeping things clear of unnecessary hazards especially when the stakes can involve both physical and mental health. It's also good to hear you're valuing that boring life as you put it. Often, keeping a clear head and opting for straightforward experiences leads to better, more genuine connections. Safe choices don’t just protect you; they help everyone involved maintain a better environment. Thanks for sharing the insight it’s an important topic that doesn’t always get enough attention.

agree 100...the ones advertising party friendly are mostly working for pimps and will set you up to get robbed in a heartbeat

Totally agree with you there’s a big risk with anyone advertising as party-friendly. Often, those setups can involve dangerous situations where people get taken advantage of. It’s always better to be cautious and stick to well-reviewed providers who don’t have those risky red flags. Thanks for the heads-up; it’s important to stay aware and protect yourself.

You can TOFTT if you pick a reasonable agency, or you do some reasonable checking in places that don't have agencies, but if you're driving to a bad part of town, or a seedy motel, for "party, party, party" or "party favours available" then you're living dangerously my friend.

In smaller cities, without agencies, I've had good encounters with: pics real, number plausible, decent social media footprint, and no other major red flags. Humorously I've had those providers reviewed on TERB AFTER I saw them, lol. (My bad for not reviewing.)

That’s a really solid approach doing thorough research and looking out for red flags makes all the difference. Humorously enough, it seems like your instincts served you well even without relying on reviews beforehand. Your experience highlights how important it is to stay cautious, especially in areas without established agencies. Definitely better to be safe than sorry, and it’s great you’ve had good outcomes by being careful.
