Because Capital Hunter is an fear mongering hypocrite who is contributing nothing here other then his paranoid delusional fantasies. It has nothing to do with having big cajones or being some sort of "tough guy" it's about being rational and making informed choices. It's about deciding what is RIGHT FOR YOU. It's about educating yourself not spreading fear and misinformation.

Nobody is saying "fuck the police" or that they don't give a fuck about the law. Here is thing, unless you have spoken to law enforcement, to lawyers, to mps, like Mirage and Muse have just shut the hell up! Your opinion means jackshit. I want claims that are actually being supported. I am tired of the misinformation, tired of the fear mongering and the trolling I'm just sick of it all. We're not the US so I dunno why you are bringing up this "Shame the johns" crap. , what happens there is of no relevance here. All the cops did to catch those guys is post fake ads on back page. i would imagine each jurisdiction will have their own guidelines or agendas. cant see Mirage being in Markham ( york region) after the 6th. Although we have always been very co-operative with vice there in the past. they called us when a couple of girls went missing, run aways i think, and they have warned us with a telephone call of hotel sweeps and to stay away for the time being, this was last year...........i am gonna give them ( york region) a call next week and see what kind of vibe i get from them. they work very hard on underaged girls and trafficking stuff. more so than most., and they do a damned good job at it. IMO, a consequence of this law is that it opens up small time operations like street front MP's to extortion from organized criminals. In Montreal, a MP has already had its front window smashed because they refused to pay into the protection racket. Something like $10-$15 per client. And that's now. Imagine when it's going to be plainly illegal for the 300 MP's there to sell sex after December 6th. So is the owner going to go to the police and make a complaint that organized crime is trying to force money out of him/her? And what is the owner going to say when the police ask him why organized crime is so interested in his business? So what would the cops do? Catch bad guys doing extortion and close down the MP at the same time? ....which is going to get owners to keep their mouths shut and pay for 'protection' in order to survive? Or are police going to be protecting operations that are effectively illegal in order to catch real criminals? I wonder what your opinion is on that, about how much cooperation you might get from police in this circumstance. I have the feeling that, in some cities with moralistic attitudes, C-36 is going to be a golden opportunity for organized crime to get into the business, and use it as a conduit to spread other rackets.

I think you remember my thread when last year before even SCC struck down the laws I posted and predicted a Swedish style model in Canada within a year (because you commented in that thread saying that hopefully Canada will not turn into Nordic countries soon after the thread was opened) in the Ottawa section in which I anticipated that selling sex becomes legal while buying sex illegal and criminal and that is exactly what happened. A lot of people said then too that this would never happen. See who was right and who was wrong.

Only an idiot would exclude strip bars and nude dancers as not a hobby so I am not surprise by the post by D-Fens. C36 would affect strip bars and nude dancers as much as escorts. Still my heart goes out to those private dancers I used to see at home and I had to tell them that I can no longer see them because of C36. One of them in tears as she used the money to pay her rent and also work summer jobs as student. So do NOT monopolize the hobby to escorts.

If you are not joking about that, do it right. Call Alan Young or find another lawyer willing to file the SCC challenge. You will become a household name across Canada, but sooner or later somebody needs to.

I have detailed how the law can be enforced by police and if they choose to enforce it there have substantial powers to do so. Those who think some simple trick can evade motivated enforcement are delusional. But if you think you have a have real shot at having it declared unconstitutional you would be doing us all a real favor.

as for me contemplating suicide... well that was 5 months ago...and it wasn't just because of C-36 that caused me to lose it. I had a lot of other things going on in my life at the time. I've gotten help. and as you can see I'm still here. and I'm stronger then I was 5 months ago.
