Our family has all joined a location sharing app as part of a plan to monitor our teenagers. How can I be un tracked if I want to visit SPs when I visit TO?

How about turning off the phone completely after pressing airplane mode?

If possible remove sim card.

Go to a library, put it on top of a bookshelf. Ask chat gpt to tell you a summary of a book you supposedly read and how to feel about it. Come back pick it up after you nut. You were in library. If someone steals it, we'll you are not good at hiding things, don't use SPs while being married.

Are you visiting by yourself? If so, bring an old phone or get a burner phone to use here for hobbying. Leave your real phone at the hotel.

Do you drive your own car? Just say you left the phone in the car. Take TTC to the incall location and use a burner phone to communicate with the SP

Not suspicious at all since all the family members received a notification when you do that. Lived experience.

It’s so creepy regardless if you’re doing something shady or not. Maybe if you’re going overseas to a place where there could be danger but beyond that, no thanks.

I was watching one those criminal TV shows on the US side awhile ago.
So cops wrongfully accused a woman for the killing, evidence pointed to two people but one looked like the women did it. Later they discover the male suspect they had in sights was the one.

How they figure out?
The wifi on his cell gave him away. Cops looked at his sim card / cell tower ping he was not in the area but close, but the woman - jailed - was later in the area that day when she drove by, which the body was there already. But the male suspect sim card was off his cell phone or removed but not his Wifi signal. His wifi signal was pinging for a device every so often when he deposed of the body. So I guess there must be a software that you can see or read the log files to see how many times your wifi pings and where.

The case happened about 15 - 10 years ago.

I don't have wi-fi, blutooth "o"n at all. But if I was married I would also remove the sim card and turn off the cell phone.
