I spend the little money I get when I recycle aluminium cans and beer bottles. Still waiting to win something after many years...
Max $3 a year for entertainment value. If someone is spending more than $3, then they're doing it because they think they can win. However, buying more tickets don't increase the chances that much so it's like wasting money.
Why not spend the least money possible for the same chance to win? The odds are almost the same whether you buy 1 ticket or 20. People don't get this.
Tell us how that works ....I would think the odds of winning are greater with the number of tickets you buy.
Greater odds, yes, but not by much as I was saying. Odds are almost the same whether you spend $3 or $30. The extra 9 tickets ($27) are almost worthless.
In order to increase your odds to 1% for example, you need to buy 140 000 unique tickets or spend $420 000 at a draw. Does anyone spend $420k at a draw ? No.
And this is just to get to 1%... So might as well spend the least possible....$3 per year. And try your luck. Best return if any for the least cost.
so the people that pay every week..think about this if the missed the week their numbes came up they would lose ...so $3 x 53 weeks in the year they spent $156
