I hope Peterson sues Trudeau's ass.
1. Peterson won't do it.
2. It's evidence under oath and therefore cannot be subject to a libel lawsuit.
3. The transcript would be kept confidential anyway.
Yeah, this just seems like posturing by Peterson.
What case does he even have, here?
From what I saw, Trudeau said that RT paid money to Peterson.
Peterson has said he never took Russian Money, but all the money paid in the US case was through a cut out, so that isn't much of a defense.
There is a reason none of the broadcasters were criminally charged in the US case - the people doing a bad thing were the RT-connected folk.
The people running a podcast and getting paid weren't doing anything illegal.
He just doesn't like the implication that he would say things Russia instructed him to say.
Thing is, Trudeau didn't accuse him of that.
I can't see how this goes anywhere unless quite specifically there is something clearing Peterson in some file somewhere and Trudeau knew it and lied.
