Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre has refused to get the security clearance necessary to be briefed on a list of people in his party involved in, or vulnerable to, foreign interference, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told a federal commission of inquiry Wednesday.

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre AKA Pee Pee has refused to get the security clearance necessary to be briefed on a list of people in his party involved in, or vulnerable to, foreign interference, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told a federal commission of inquiry Wednesday.

"I have the names of a number of parliamentarians, former parliamentarians and-or candidates in the Conservative Party of Canada who are engaged (in) or at high risk of or for whom there is clear intelligence around foreign interference," Trudeau said.

It'd be the equivalent of the DOJ/FBI tipping off NYC mayor Eric Adams before they arrested him. You don't openly announce that shit until evidence-gathering is done and arrests can be made or the parties can conclusively be cleared.

I don't like Trudeau. I think he's a lame duck who deserves to gtfo of office, but it's crazy how people refuse to give him/his admin credit for ANYTHING. He's making the right choice here by inviting PP to get briefed. The F*CK Trudeau bumper sticker types will hate anything he does. What's the alternative? Keep the info only in Liberal hands? Ignore security flags? Honestly? What?

Name them or shut up.
PP didn't ask what liberals were on the list. He asked for the MP's names, all the MP's.
Trudeau is desperate for something to make him look good.

If RCMP has proof that some politicians took bribes from foreign groups, then they should be arrested and their names made public

turning this shit show against Poilievre is dishonest on the part of our illustrious leader

what's Poilievre going to do with that list if he saw it?

Trudeau is unfortunately still in charge

it's his responsibility to overlook this inquiry

Nonsense! If this were the case he would have been shown the documents. He has claimed he doesn't want it right now because it would muzzle him, in other words, it is not politically convenient. Yet it is ok to have folks in his future cabinet, party, and caucus being courted by foreign players because he insists on playing politics.
