I was the guest of the owner and wife of one of the Toronto swing clubs a few years ago. It was quite nice to spend most of the time in the pool as the owners introduced me to friends. I was known to them due to my website libchrist.com, and I have been a featured speaker at the old Lifestyles convention and filled a convention room a few years on the topic "Swinging Christians, not a Biblical Conflict." How this started was interesting. The minister with theological degrees who co-founded with me decided to call to perhaps be an exhibitor at the largest swing convention in the US. It turns out the person on the phone was the daughter of the founder, and shortly after, we received a call from the head organizer wanting us to be a speaker instead, and we did for a few years.
But I was never a participant in the usual swinging things since I am more into intimacy and sensuality than the usual sex stuff. Just recreational sex of swinging was never my interest. The "recreation" aspect was to protect from jealousy which was/is a HUGE issue with many men, even some in our group that were more friends with benefits vs the typical swinger.
Also hosted a Liberated Christians Couples group in my home with about 200 members. Ironically "what to do for single men" issue is what got me interested in sexwork since unless exhibitionists, most couples and swing clubs do not want single men. When we were featured on the front page of Phoenix New Times (the backpage folks), we had zillions of emails from single men, that we could not help other than suggest escorts etc.

The only thing wrong in the Bible about prostitution was the idolatry of the page prostitutes in the temples, worshiping the fertility gods, etc. It had nothing to do with sex. "Great men of the bible" had many wives and concubines and "women too numerous to number."
Likewise, the abortion issue was not an issue until about 20 years ago when the conservatives made up the issue. Show me one passage in the Bible that is against abortion that is not simply foreknowledge! Abortion was common in biblical times with very crude means. According to biblical Christianity, there is no soul till birth - or, in the Jewish view, a number of days later. A fetus is not a baby but a soulless fetus - the soul is what is unique and personhood. Many conservative Christians, Thieme etc, before all the uproar, wrote books about this.
I am trying to imagine what it would be like as a single guy.
I doubt you just walk in and start having sex
You need great social skills/conversational skills and know how to read people
to avoid direct rejection.
Being assessed as a bad lay sounds awkward, either receiving or giving.
You need real sex skills that come with education and sexual experience
to approach with confidence
There is a plus in going single as you are free of a partner that you need to consider but a partner allieviates lonliness and attracts other couples
I think my social skills and reading of people and sexual skills are of
high enough quality I could be a good participant at a club as a single but there is still a very good chance I would end up feeling lonely and rejected at the end of short night

I've been to a few and my date and I kept to ourselves, but it was hot watching others have sex and to be watched in return. The only off putting time was at Oasis, on a night where single males were allowed in. Too many dudes watching is not cool, as they want a piece of the action and having to stop and tell them to politely "fuck off" ruins the vibe.
Exactly the same experience I had with oasis I find that going to a couple only nights solves this issue

Dave, from my talks with him, comes to town about once a year for a week or two.
Usually in our summer time when his home of Arizona is way too hot.
He has a few business associates of his day job here that he catches up with in his visits, among his other activites.
