Just a follow-up to my follow-up.
We did a few pub crawls (1 or 2 drinks and then onto the next place) pre and post games and to probably state the obvious, timing varies the eye candy.
We went to Kelly's landing 3 times. Pregame Saturday afternoon had the best staff. Sunday afternoon was subpar. Monday pregame was pretty good.
Cactus was very good both Saturday and Sunday night.
JA's on Front St post game on Sunday was ok but I'm guessing Fri or Sat night would be better.
Joeys on Monday afternoon was ok considering a weekday afternoon during working hours.

We poked our heads into Moxies, Earl's on King St., and the Keg after KL and JA's post game Sunday and they were all pretty dead/lacking atmosphere so we didn't bother staying.

I've been to Joey's a few times, and it always has a good mix of people and a fun atmosphere. The food’s pretty solid too, so it might be what you're looking for. One time I was in Perth, I checked out this spot called Hop & Huddle, and it was a great find—awesome smoked meats and the vibe was just right. If you're ever in Perth, it's worth looking them up under restaurants perth.
